Anonymous: I'd say macs of any kind are worth it, I've macbook pro and one of my classmates a macbook air. We're on a media course and I thought his would be underpowered but it just keeps chugging away with whatever you throw at it, it's really impressive. If you're a student you can get discount and they retain resell value really well up to 3 years down the line too.

oh gosh, tumblr didn’t tell me i had a message!

i did end up getting a macbook air (and i love it) but only because it was on clearance..

thank you anon! :) Xx

"Ancient moon priestesses were called virgins. ‘Virgin’ meant not married, not belonging to a man - a woman who was ‘one-in-herself’. The very word derives from a Latin root meaning strength, force, skill; and was later applied to men: virle. Ishtar, Diana, Astarte, Isis were all all called virgin, which did not refer to sexual chastity, but sexual independence. And all great culture heroes of the past, mythic or historic, were said to be born of virgin mothers: Marduk, Gilgamesh, Buddha, Osiris, Dionysus, Genghis Khan, Jesus - they were all affirmed as sons of the Great Mother, of the Original One, their worldly power deriving from her. When the Hebrews used the word, and in the original Aramaic, it meant ‘maiden’ or ‘young woman’, with no connotations to sexual chastity. But later Christian translators could not conceive of the ‘Virgin Mary’ as a woman of independent sexuality, needless to say; they distorted the meaning into sexually pure, chaste, never touched."

1|7 Heartbreaking Scenes/Moments: A Note of Madness by Tabitha Suzuma - Flynn’s Jump.

Flynn stopped, leaning against the wall, breathing hard. He had ruined the evening, ruined his friendships, ruined everything. If he kept on going, he could ruin it all. Tomorrow would never come… He turned from them both, went over to the window and flung it open.

He couldn’t think anymore, couldn’t be. All he could do was shout, hurt, destroy. He wanted only to break down this interminable life, this excruciating existence, and shut out all the pain…

As he swung his legs over the windowsill, he heard Jennah scream.

Harry’s hands grabbed him by the shoulders, dragging him backwards.

"Anyway, what does mad mean exactly? Aren’t we all a little mad? Don’t we have to be somewhat mad just to go on living, to go on hoping?"
